A mountain biker fell badly on Sunday afternoon in a forest between Schöngeising and Holzhausen.
Schöngeising - Another mountain biker was seriously injured in a fall. According to the police report, a 24-year-old Eichenauer was on his bike around 4 p.m. on a bike in a forest between Schöngeising and Holzhausen. On one of the many small and winding forest paths that mountain bikers like to use for skill exercises, the Eichenauer lost control of his bike on a slope. The 24-year-old broke his collarbone in the fall. He was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
It is not the first serious mountain bike accident this year. In April, a 69-year-old teacher had a fatal accident on a course near Fürstenfeldbruck. Just a few days later, a 60-year-old mountain biker was also seriously injured.
