Hikers from Franconia in the Alps surprised by snow - rescue helicopter and mountain rescue team on duty

On Sunday (May 31st), the " Christoph 14 " helicopter then took off again in the direction of Hoher Göll , because a single man from Franconia was also unable to continue due to snow fields

This time the helicopter brought the rescue group upstairs but was unable to land due to the fog . A total of four mountain rescuers finally took the man to the valley on foot - he too was unharmed.

As the mountain rescue service announces , the three rescued mountaineers were "lucky in misery". Due to the old snow in the high mountains and in shady northern locations also lower, "many mountain tours are still an alpine company with a risk of falling, " said the mountain rescue service in a message. “Much higher demands on the sense of direction , fitness and equipment are required ”.
