Some citizens went to the US and Canadian consulates in Hong Kong to oppose the two countries’ open opposition to legislation.
This group of citizens pointed out that Hong Kong is a part of China and is responsible for safeguarding national sovereignty and security, and cannot become a gap in national security.
They pointed out that any country and place would have laws related to the maintenance of national security. They believed that there was no problem for the central government to take the initiative to formulate the "Hong Kong version of the National Security Law." The Canadian and American governments should respect and cannot interfere.
This group of people severely condemned the remarks made by senior officials of the two countries against public legislation earlier, demanding that they respect China's national sovereignty and security and withdraw relevant remarks.
