A 35-year-old Dutchman wanted to sell a kilogram of cocaine to a friend in Peißenberg - this is what the prosecution stands for in a trial that has now started at the Munich II Regional Court. The allegation is based, among other things, on a chat protocol.

Peißenberg - There were large amounts of cocaine to be handled in Peißenberg. A whole kilo should go over the imaginary counter for 40,000 euros. At least that's what the indictment of the public prosecutor's office in Munich II is accused of. A process technician (35) from the Netherlands who allegedly wanted to do business with a Peißenberger. But he denies the deeds. He has been in custody since September 25 last year. Now he is being tried in the Munich II Regional Court.

The indictment lists two cases. According to this, the Dutchman imported around 50 grams of cocaine into the Federal Republic in December 2017. With these 50 grams, he spent the night with a friend in Peißenberg, who is also under investigation. Then he wanted to sell the drugs in Munich. He is said to have given two grams of the drug to his Peißenberg buddy on the evening of the night.

On April 8, 2018, according to the indictment, a fateful phone call was made. The Dutchman agreed with the Peißenberger "seriously and bindingly" the sale of a whole kilo of coke, it says. "The accused is currently not commenting on either the person or the matter," said defense attorney Julia Weinmann at the start of the trial. And: "The indictment is fully contested."

A key in the process is a chat protocol dated April 8, 2018, available to investigators through telecommunications surveillance. It always talks about what has been agreed with “the Dutchman”. The defense lawyer criticized this alleged evidence harshly: "I do not know why it should be an essential part. There are many Dutch people. ”“ You are right, you can see a lot of people on the highway, ”quipped the presiding judge. But she also had to seriously agree with the defense lawyer: "There are huge gaps in the investigation." The trial continues.
