Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov called on the United Nations today to take measures against the American authorities and hold them accountable for the killing of innocent protesters who express their opposition to racism and discrimination.
"Today I appeal to Kadyrov as saying on the Telegram website: I appeal to international organizations, especially the United Nations, to intervene and take appropriate measures against the official US authorities to prevent their continued violations of human rights and freedoms and to implement sanctions without prosecution ... and to demand that they bear responsibility for the atrocities committed, especially stalking and killing," he said.
Kadyrov explained that the events in the United States are terrorizing the extent of the repression used against the protesters, pointing to the international community's discontent over the practices of the American authorities.
Many were killed and injured, while thousands were arrested in the United States, as protests continued to kill the African-American, George Floyd, who breathed after a police officer fixed him to the ground and pressed his neck for minutes.
