There is an underground intern between Together for Change, beyond the pandemic. Everyone wants to lead the space, although the former president does not minimize his role.

“Horacio must be sustained , Mauricio Macri took down the line in one of the few-member and very low-profile meetings he had these days. It is not that the former president is retired or has accepted willingly that the new leader of Together for Change should be Rodríguez Larreta. Simply wait for the right moment.

Macri considers that the head of the Buenos Aires government is doing things well and that in this phase he must collaborate with Alberto Fernández to confront the pandemic.

It is no coincidence that one of his slopes, former official Hernán Lombardi, emphasized days before the media that Larreta does what he has to do in tune with the President and with Governor Axel Kicillof because it is not a time for there to be fights . However, he made it clear, in passing, that Macri "is irreplaceable and is present in the future of Argentines." Ergo, despite his silence and economic failure, Mauricio Macri still considers that he has a chance to return in 2023.

The former president believes that the only district that PRO has , the City of Buenos Aires and, therefore, Horacio, must be preserved . But it is a merely temporary situation. In these meetings, the former president tries to calm down the hard wing of Juntos por el Cambio like Patricia Bullrich, Miguel Pichetto or Alfredo Cornejo, maintaining that "there will be time to settle the inmates."

Although for the citizens it is futurology and in public the political leaders of the ruling party and the opposition affirm that this is not the time to talk about the legislative or internal elections, it is known that the conformation of the lists for next year would anticipate a political fight in the PRO: Macri vs Larreta.

Afterwards, the dispute with the radical Civic Union will have to be defined, which is toned because it has three of the 4 governors that the space has: Gerardo Morales (Jujuy), Rodolfo Suárez (Mendoza) and Gustavo Valdés (Corrientes). The fourth is Larreta, from PRO.

In radicalism they do not believe that Macri has a chance nor do they see him excited in an operative return, even if Alberto Fernández is not doing well. Neither do they observe Rodríguez Larreta as one of the winners of this crisis because they understand that he has been stuck with the government at this juncture and could only capitalize politically on this situation, if he detaches himself from the Casa Rosada.

On the contrary, in the UCR they interpret that what is coming is "a strong social and economic crisis" and that in this scheme, there will be a sort of shuffling and giving back to the protagonists. In other words, Larreta is the protagonist in the fight against the pandemic, but when it comes to discussing how to get out of the economic crisis and face the post-pandemic stage, there will be other opposition actors that will stand out. They insist, even with some certainty, that they will have their own candidate in 2023.

However, the white berets are clear that the continuity of radicalism in the Together for Change coalition is not in dispute , and that it is a sine qua non condition to stay together.
