The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the demolition of the Israeli occupation authorities the homes and facilities of the Palestinians is a war crime in accordance with international law, calling on the International Criminal Court to open an investigation into the occupation crimes and hold those responsible accountable.
The Foreign Ministry made clear in a statement today reported by the Wafa Agency that the occupation continues its crimes against the Palestinians and continues to demolish their installations and homes in occupied Jerusalem, the most recent of which was the demolition of three houses and six commercial establishments in violation of the Geneva Conventions and a flagrant violation of United Nations resolutions that confirm that Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Palestine and part no It is divided into the Palestinian Territory occupied in 1967.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that the demolitions of Palestinian homes and installations are an extension of the open occupation war in occupied Palestine, especially in the city of Jerusalem, from aggression, settlement escalation, arbitrary and racist measures, forced displacement and ethnic cleansing within its plans and continuous attempts to obscure the features of the Holy City, falsify its history and cancel the Palestinian presence.
The Foreign Ministry called on the international community to take urgent action and take a firm stand to stop the occupation’s plans and conspiracies aimed at liquidating the Palestinian issue. The International Criminal Court also called for an official investigation into the crime of house demolitions and other crimes committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people, their land, sanctities and property.
