A month ago, when mass releases were in the eye of the storm, PRO headline Patricia Bullrich and journalist Ernesto Tenembaum had had a heated discussion in the middle of a radio interview. And this Tuesday they reissued the raucous crossing, now with the focus on extending the quarantine to fight the coronavirus.

There were 30 minutes of back and forth, interruptions and cross-charges. The head of the PRO criticized the "eternal isolation" policy and the journalist from Radio Con Vos accused her of wanting to "do politics . "

From the start, the weather seemed tense and the talk was one-topic. In the same presentation of the interviewee, Tenembaum recalled the discussion they had had about the releases and reminded her that she called the infectologist Pedro Cahn "terrorist" . Thereafter, the tension curve increased.

Bullrich made his position clear from the start: "At this point the first thing the government has to do is explain the results that the development of the curve has had, which has always been upward. We are reaching 70 days of quarantine and we continue to up. It was clear that we have pushed the problem forward . "

Tenembaum, in his first interruption, objected to it: "In the Government they never said to go down the curve but to flatten it." Bullrich, in an annoyed tone, replied: "Excuse me, I am not an epidemiologist like you but I follow the cases. They said that the peak came in April, then for the second half of April, then for May, then for June and now some say July".

In another passage, the former Minister of Security mentioned as examples countries that have already been released from quarantine in less than two months, to which the journalist intercepted her: "They are on the street after 30,000 deaths. Spain, Italy, France ... Even so, Great Britain is not yet, Chile closed ... ".

"Don't run me off with that," Bullrich shot.

But perhaps the strongest point of the discussion was when Tenembaum tried to make her politic with the pandemic: " You are looking for a political advantage on a very dramatic issue , without acknowledging that the main trading partner has 30,000 dead, without arguing that Chile has just to close with a tremendous self-criticism of the Minister of Health, without saying what is happening in the United States, which has 100,000 dead, having described an epidemiologist of the most prestigious as 'terrorist' ... Then I see that you take advantage to do politics "

Bullrich raised his tone: "I am talking about our strategy. I am a little tired of the phrase 'you do politics. To do politics is to put the names of the mayors on food packages. Having a position is not doing politics. You don't you can accept a different position. I ask you to make a serious discussion don't say that. "

The driver then asked for his opinion on the City Government's stance, in line with national policies. "Now you shoot me with the City Government," he said. And he continued: "Lately you are living with enough violence on the others".

At the end, Tenembaum asked Bullrich: "Close the note as you want." And the former official confirmed her position: "I hope that on Saturday there will be a solution for the millions of workers who are out of work, intelligently, logically, taking care of the lives of Argentines, taking care of work and taking care of the future."
