The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress will formulate a national security law on Hong Kong. The Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the Hong Kong District, Tan Yaozong, publicly wrote that anyone who opposes the legislation violates the Basic Law and should be disqualified (DQ) in the September Legislative Council election, which is ridiculous.

First, the National People’s Congress authorizes the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress to formulate Hong Kong’s National Security Law in response to Hong Kong’s increasingly complex social situation, including the overall situation of Sino-US wrestling, and the activities of Hong Kong independence that Hong Kong has witnessed. The essence of the National Security Law is aimed at these behaviors and activities, not all-inclusive or even a tool to assist the formation.

Tan Yaozong makes no sense

Second, there are many reasons for opposing the Hong Kong version of the National Security Law, and many people's worries are also objective events. Of course, some people may completely deny the power that the central government can exercise in Hong Kong, but many people object to the inclusion of Annex III of the Basic Law without legislation by the Legislative Council; And the clarity makes the public vulnerable to the law. Tan Yaozong said, "If these people raise objections, it is a violation of the Basic Law", which is obviously rude.

Third, Tan Yaozong further inferred, "If these people raise objections, they violate the Basic Law and should be disqualified." It is even more disturbing and confusing. Candidates of the Legislative Council must support the Basic Law and swear allegiance to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. If a candidate is suspected of competing with it in principle, the RO will ask him to explain. Whether the candidate finally meets the eligibility criteria will also be considered by the RO after reviewing the relevant information. On what grounds does Tan Yaozong believe that such a complete DQ can be achieved?

Hong Kong citizens can stand as candidates for the National People's Congress in accordance with Article 21 of the Basic Law. The Hong Kong representative is among the highest organs of power in the country. This is one of the designs embodying "one country, two systems". Since the reunification, at least one representative of the Minato District People's Congress has served as a standing committee member, including Zeng Xianzi and Fan Xu Litai. Now, some people call it "Tan sir" Tan Yaozong. Deputies to the People’s Congress of the Port Area-especially the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress-naturally have a long way to go, shouldering the heavy responsibility of coordinating "two systems" and actively implementing "one country, two systems." But have they done well?

Forming factions or helping

Tan Yaozong's article in "Bauhinia" said that the 23 legislative works in 2003 were "inadequately prepared, coupled with a lack of publicity, and the public was misled". Last year's amendment was "under pressure from the international community" Smear." The community cannot help but ask, if the problem is simply insufficient publicity and discredit, why did the formed faction, as a government partner, fail to break the discredit? It's even exaggerated. Why is it possible for others to discredit, but the establishment faction has no ability to beautify?

Last year, the government pushed to amend the "Fugitive Offenders Ordinance." We have already pointed out that officials take it for granted and are self-righteous, which will only increase the legitimacy and spreadability of "reverse sending." Politics is originally a game for the right to speak. It is not an exaggeration to be beaten and humiliated if you are not as skilled. Now that the Central Government has enacted national security laws for Hong Kong, it has caused certain turbulence in society and is definitely a test of "one country, two systems." The establishment faction really has learned the experience of losing people's hearts in the past, does it do the job of consulting public opinion and communicating with the society on a down-to-earth basis? Once I am still the same, even holding the mentality of using the central authority to dismiss the democratic forces, is it responsible for "one country, two systems"?

The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress enacted the National Security Law for Hong Kong. In fact, it was a "going to the examination" to test whether it still understood the differences and needs of the "two systems." Whether it is Ye Guoqian, the deputy director of the Hong Kong District People’s Congress, Tan Huizhu, deputy director of the Basic Law Committee, or Tan Yaozong, a member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, they must recognize that the focus of this legislative work is not their personal reputation, nor whether the establishment faction benefits, but more about Whether "one country, two systems" can achieve stability. If they have such a high degree of awareness, they should understand what they have done and what they have not done.
