(ANSA) - BERGAMO, JUNE 02 - An exceptional hailstorm, so dense as to seem and with grains of enormous size hit the now well-known towns of Alzano Lombardo and Nembro, in the Bergamo area, already the most affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.
There have been dozens of firefighters exits throughout the Val Seriana for damage caused by bad weather that began in the late afternoon on Tuesday 2 June.
Discomfort also on the roads: some arteries, such as the provincial 36 Nembro-Selvino, have been closed. In Nembro there were 30 hailstorms. A road landslide occurred between Peia and Gandino. Firefighters also intervened for dangerous trees in Piazza Brembana and in Bassa, in Treviglio and Verdello. In Bergamo, floods were recorded in the power stations via XX Settembre and via SanBernardino.
In Milan the alarm went off for thunderstorms in thunderstorms, first in Brianza and then in the city, but after 9 pm it rained and the Seveso stopped 30 cm from the flood.
