The director of the Plant Production Department in the Agricultural Directorate, Eng. Jalal Bilal, told a SANA reporter that harvesting the crops is accelerating and increasing continuously to include the various agricultural areas in the governorate, where the harvested areas were distributed over 275 thousand and 500 hectares of irrigated barley and Baal and 65 thousand and 500 hectares of irrigated wheat And hubby.

Eng. Bilal pointed out that the percentage of harvest of barley crop from the public area exceeded half, as it is expected to finish harvesting the crop during the second half of this month, while wheat harvest operations are still in their infancy, especially in the northern and western regions of the governorate.

It is noteworthy that the number of harvesters involved in harvesting crops for the current season reached 835.
