For his part, Fouad Mahfoud, the mayor of Al-Maranah in the western countryside of Homs, pointed out that the people are largely going to grow vineyards in the villages of the western region, where the leaf harvest season is an annual tradition that people expect from year to year, so the farmers harvest the leaves and sell them to the centers scattered in all villages in the region on a daily basis to be shipped To markets in all governorates, sell them directly in the cardamom market, or contract with storage dealers in each governorate.
