An Iranian knowledge company has produced 3,000 respirators in a two-month period of its kind.
According to the Iranian Fars News Agency, the company's production of respirators jumped from 300 before the spread of the Corona pandemic to 3,000 in a period of two months, with the support of the Iranian Ministry of Health and the Innovation and Creativity Fund.
According to a report followed by the agency, the localization rate in this respirator industry is 70% and the remaining 30% is an American industry, but after re-imposing the US embargo on Iran, it is either manufactured internally or imported from Switzerland.
The CEO of the company, whose name was not mentioned in the report, explained that the priority of granting these devices inside the country will be to start the export process next month.
The value of these devices in the global market is 4 thousand euros, while the Iranian Ministry of Health buys them 5 thousand euros from this company.
