The Steingaden administrative community elected a new board in the first meeting after the local elections. The agenda also included the adoption of new rules of procedure, the appointment of new marriage officials and the approval of the 2018 and 2019 annual accounts.
Steingaden - "I wish you all the best for the future - of course in the interests of your home communities." With these words, the previous administrative community chairman Xaver Wörle said goodbye, who opened the meeting in his last official act and initiated the election of the new chairman.
They always worked together in harmony. Because: The political community needs good administration, said Wörle, who cleared the place for his successor, the acting mayor of Steingaden, Max Bertl. With eight of the nine votes present and one abstention, the 26-year-old was elected as the new chairman of the Steingaden administrative community.
Josef Taffertshofer first, Andreas Echtler second deputy
As the first deputy, Bertl proposed the Mayor of Wildsteig Josef Taffertshofer, because he had great experience. The new mayor of Premer Andreas Echtler was also proposed. With nine votes each, Taffersthofer was elected first and Echtler second.
The compensation for voluntary work in the administrative community also had to be re-voted. It was unanimously decided to keep the compensation for the chairman at EUR 500 per month as before and to increase the compensation for the deputy chairperson from the current EUR 92.90 to EUR 100. The other volunteer members will receive an attendance fee of 25 euros.
The newly appointed registrars, the mayors of the municipalities of Wildsteig, Steingaden and Prem, receive compensation of 30 euros. In addition to the "born" representatives, the three mayors, Peter Lutz and his deputy, Manuela Gans, were elected unanimously as "born" representatives of the Steingaden administrative community in the association meeting of the Oberland Municipal Service Center.
In individual cases, the chairman may spend 25,000 euros
The amendments to the articles of association, which were presented by Lutz, were limited to the task area "personnel" in addition to a few wording. There, the chairman should be allowed to make decisions independently up to salary or salary group 5, from group 6 the assembly is involved. In addition, the chairman can make necessary future expenditures of up to 25,000 euros in individual cases.
The annual accounts 2018 and 2019, which had been checked and not criticized, were unanimously released. The 2018 financial statements closed with an addition to the asset budget of EUR 145 162 and a net addition to the general reserve of EUR 117 312. The total reserve amount is EUR 157 145. The amount of outstanding custody payments was EUR 13 012.
The 2019 annual accounts showed a withdrawal from the asset budget of EUR 40 292, the net addition to the general reserve was EUR 1781. The total reserve as of December 31, 2019 was EUR 149 363 for unfinished custody payments of EUR 12 461.
