A strong explosion affected this Tuesday a perfumery located in the heart of the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Crespo and at least nine firefighters were injured.
The exact moment of the strong explosion was recorded by residents of the area, who uploaded their videos to social networks. As seen in the images, firefighters were already working on the site when the second and strongest explosion was recorded. In fact, the director of SAME himself, Alberto Crescenti, was there when it happened.
Later, Crescenti spoke to TN and gave details of what happened: "As we raised the fire department, the second explosion caught us, we were born again."
Sources from the Buenos Aires Ministry of Security reported that the fire started in the perfumery located on the ground floor of the 14-story building located on Corrientes Avenue 5246 and that personnel from the 6th station of the City fire department moved to extinguish it.

Authorities warned that a fire broke out in mounds of merchandise and that the fire caused an explosion.
Firefighters are working to put out the flames and SAME and the Special Emergency Brigade (BEE) were present because combustible products were found at the scene.
The Fire Department informed Télam that both explosions took place around 5:00 pm in the second basement of the "Pigmento" perfumery.

While firefighters are working on different sources, a Metrogas team was preparing to cut off the gas supply on site. While the cooling tasks were being carried out, a team from the Auxiliary Guard prepared to review the structure and assess the damage.
The authorities warned that in the basement the fire advanced on mounds of merchandise, which caused a first explosion.
The second explosion occurred when traffic was already interrupted on Corrientes Avenue. Firefighters, SAME and the Special Emergency Brigade (BEE) were working this afternoon, where it is presumed that combustible products are stored.
