The death of American African-American man Floyd (George Floyd) triggered a large-scale demonstration in the United States, which is still unfinished. According to media reports, President Donald Trump was taken to the bunker when people demonstrated earlier near the White House. Trump denied asylum on June 3, saying he was just inspecting.

Trump was interviewed by Fox News Radio, denying reports that he had taken refuge in the bunker, saying that he stayed there for a short period of time during the day, mainly for inspection purposes, saying that everything was normal at the time. He emphasized that two or three visits to the bunker were all for inspection, not for retreat for his own safety.

Trump pointed out that Secret Service personnel recommended to visit the local area, and that no one could approach the White House to cause trouble for them, praised the Secret Service for maintaining the environment near the White House, and the Washington DC police and other departments were very competent.
