He also pointed out that the British government will provide BNO holders with the means to become citizens, reflecting that the British will not betray Hong Kong people.
Lan Taowen said that the United Kingdom did not make any threats, but pointed out that China clearly violated the joint statement. Therefore, he called on Beijing to fulfill the responsibility expected by the international community. At the same time, the United Kingdom will continue to discuss with China on relevant issues, and the international community should also provide Space, reconsider the plan to implement the National Security Law.
