The 17-year-old participant Li said that the number of participants did not affect the effectiveness of the publicity, and hoped that more people would attend the Victoria Park memorial service tonight.

At 1:15 this afternoon, there were about four demonstrators marching and chanting slogans in the Yuanfang shopping mall. On the way, several citizens responded. Afterwards, the demonstrators moved to the open-air platform, continued to call the slogan, chanted "May the glory return to Hong Kong", and urged the public to gather in Victoria Park tonight to commemorate June 4th. The event attracted around 30 restaurant customers in the vicinity, and more than 10 people were responding. Until about 2 o'clock in the afternoon, after the demonstrations were maintained for about an hour, the demonstrators dispersed peacefully.
