(CNN Spanish) - Half a dozen Nicaraguan political personalities have died in recent days, some of them, without precise information on the reasons.

The government of President Daniel Ortega reported on Tuesday of three of these deaths and the National Assembly reported the death of a second deputy, who joins a legislator whose death was reported by Parliament in May.

Vice President Rosario Murillo indicated in a call with official media on Tuesday that during the last hours the mayor of Masaya, Orlando Noguera, and the director of the Nicaraguan Institute of Telecommunications and Posts (Telcor), Orlando Castillo, as well as Fermín Cuadra, former mayor from El Coral.

“Our brother mayor of El Coral at the time, Fermín Cuadra, had a sugar rise yesterday (June 1). It seems that he waited until morning to go to the hospital because he was coming to Managua, and on the way he passed to another plane of life. We will always remember him as one of our first allies, ”said Rosario Murillo.

As a tribute, Murillo highlighted the work of these public servants.

“We have Orlando (Noguera), in Masaya, Orlando Castillo, director of Telcor, also present. To all of them, with the strength of the Revolution, we live their legacy, "added Murillo.

The vice president did not report the causes of the death of the mayor of Masaya or the director of Telcor.

"Their legacy remains, their courage and above all that love with which they served the Nicaraguan people at all times," said Murillo.

The Mayor's Office of Masaya published on Monday on his Facebook page a photograph of the mayor with the text “Companion Orlando Noguera Vega, Masaya is all yelling at you! (…) ”.

Another recently deceased politician is Rita Fletes Zamora, deputy deputy for the ruling Sandinista Front and a director of the National Workers Front (FNT). The causes of this death have not been publicly explained, reported on Tuesday by the National Assembly through Twitter.

Deputy María Manuela Sacasa passed away last week as a result of cancer, according to Vice President Murillo.

On May 19, deputy Carlos Alberto Jirón Bolaños, of the opposition Liberal Constitutionalist Party, died, according to a statement from the National Assembly in which no details about the causes are offered, although some family members reported to local media that Jirón died of complications of diabetes.
