On Pentecost Saturday, Mayor of Pfaffenhofen, Helmut Zech, and his fellow city council members embarked on an information tour by bike through the municipality. In Egenburg the tour started at the town hall and at the so-called Eder estate. Zech explained the ownership structure of the cemetery site and addressed the other three cemeteries in the municipal area.

We continued by bike to the new children's house "Glonntalzwerge Egenburg". The municipal councils were able to get an idea of the current status of the construction work and Zech explained the special features of the planning and construction to the new council members. Margarete Klein-Kennerknecht (Greens) in particular was very interested in the topic as head of the AWO children's home Sandburg in Odelzhausen. Just like the local councilor Richard Kalmbach as a specialist for ventilation, air conditioning and energy, who informed his colleagues in detail about the air heat pump, the photovoltaic system and the technical concept.

After that, the rooms for the "liberal professions", such as physiotherapists, were on the program. The outdoor facilities will be completed at the beginning of July, so that nothing stands in the way of moving into the new kindergarten year, as Helmut Zech explained.

Then it went on to Ebersried to the district and government district border. The bike tour then led the town council via Bayerzell (Ditschenhof) to a community planting next to the Pfaffelmoser estate in Weitenried. There the village and the listed forge were visited.

After a brief stop at the chapel at the Stockach / Staatsstraße 2052 intersection, the town councilors cycled on to Stockach, where Mayor Zech raised the situation with road construction. In Oberumbach, the panel stopped at the pumping station around the sewage system.

At the former sports field of the TSV Umbach, Zech gave the history of the club to the best, before continuing on to Unterumbach - past the volunteer-lovingly designed cemetery forecourt - to Wagenhofen. There Zech dealt with the current construction work, such as sewer work, speed pipe, street lighting and chapel forecourt.

The panel then cycled to the new fire station, where the mayor discussed the construction work and addressed the events, such as the Mexican Night, New Year's Eve, and the club's anniversary.

The path led through the beautiful Glonntal to the children's home in Pfaffenhofen. Zech gave a brief outline of the measures for village renewal, the municipal wood chip house with district heating pipe and the photovoltaic systems on the children's house as well as the boiler house and the tanner's workshop. After so much information and physical activity, the committee treated itself to a well-deserved degree in the "Glonntal Stub'n". Simone Wester
