Trump claims he did not escape to his hideout but was "inspecting" him

Despite all the reports that confirmed the US President Donald Trump's hiding during the protest demonstrations in front of the White House external gates, the latter claimed that he went to the bunker "to inspect it."

"It is wrong information," Trump said in an interview with Fox News radio, adding that he had gone to the bunker "two or three times over the past days" and that "every time he does so in order to check the place."

The New York Times revealed that the White House Secret Service was moving Trump and his family members to a White House underground bunker as protests intensified in the vicinity of the American presidential palace.
