Trump claims to have gone to the White House bunker for an "inspection"

Donald Trump has a very different version from that of several American media regarding what happened at the White House on Friday. In an interview with Fox New Radio on Wednesday, the President denied being escorted to a secure bunker due to protests outside the White House. He said he simply went there for an inspection.

According to the New York Times, Donald Trump was hastily sheltered Friday evening by the Secret Service during a demonstration outside his official residence against racial injustices after the death in Minneapolis of George Floyd, asphyxiated under the knee of a white policeman. According to several sources cited by CNN, Melania Trump and Barron, the son of the presidential couple, were also escorted to the bunker.

Trump stayed in the bunker "for a little while"
