This scam will never go out of fashion: telephone fraudsters who pretended to be police officers wanted to loot in Inning and Weßling. But the called parties reacted correctly - and immediately turned to the real police in Herrsching.

Inning / Weßling - The wrong officials had contacted a 48-year-old Weßlinger and a 62-year-old Inninger on Monday and Tuesday. They pretended to have caught a Romanian burglar gang. But with the bandits they would have found pieces of paper with the addresses of the two. The Weßlinger and the Inninger were asked about their possessions in the house. Then they became suspicious. In both cases, the called parties recognized the attempted fraud and no information was extracted.

On the current occasion, the police point out again that they do not ask citizens about their possessions on the phone and would never pick them up. The advice of the officers: "If you receive a similar call, stop the call and inform your responsible police department."
