The General Command of the Army and the Armed Forces announced the postponement of the deferred compulsory service due to their studies or their residency outside the country for an additional year and the exclusion of those in charge of the reserve service also for one year and for the same reason.
The leadership said in a statement that SANA received a copy of it that "those who postponed compulsory service postponed due to studying outside the country or residing in 2019 are postponed for an additional year starting from the date of the postponement of their postponement without the need to submit the approved documents."
As for those in charge of the reserve service, the statement indicated that "those who are excluded from the reserve service who are excluded because of their studies outside the country or residence in 2019 for an additional year starting from the date of the expiration of their exclusion without the need to submit the approved documents are excluded."
