Weyhern - The Rosenrot farm in Weyhern is located between Niederroth and Indersdorf and is a real paradise for the five artists working there as well as for the many art lovers who also come here for coffee and cake. The 17 different types of roses that are currently blooming in front of the over 100 year old house are a real feast for the eyes. The response to Hof Rosenrot is particularly great in Corana times.
Munich-based Doris Gibson founded Hof Rosenrot in 1998. Since then, the trained seamstress has had her studio here. She makes individual clothing, holds courses and is also committed to painting.
A master of glass jewelry, paperwork and knitting is Sabine Hinz from Dachau, who also feels very comfortable at Hof Rosenrot. Together with Doris Gibson and Sabine Hinz, it is Birgit Lehrl, a pearl maker from Schwabhausen, who offers homemade cakes with fine coffee specialties in an idyllic atmosphere. Birgit Lehrl impresses with handmade glass beads that she incorporates into artistic unique jewelry.
Natural decoration of a special kind is produced by Doris Schönwetter from Indersdorf, and Anna Bade from Petershausen, who is a master wood sculptor, impresses not only with sculptures, but also with tiny miniatures, well integrated into the frame.
Last but not least, changing guest exhibitors ensure creative diversity. The ladies from Hof Rosenrot also care about the animal world, especially biodiversity. This is proven by Doris Gibson and Sabine Hinz, who keep several colonies of bees here without causing any harm to the guests. Visitors appreciate the tranquility in nature, where they can read a book or two outdoors. An open bookcase offers enough reading.
Art, coffee and joie de vivre are united at Hof Rosenrot, because even in bad weather you can indulge yourself in a great café on the top floor of the house. A special tip for coffee are the homemade poppy seed cakes, Linzer Torte and delicious fruit cakes. Catering takes place during opening hours in the studios Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., as well as by appointment.
