Today, Egypt recorded 1467 new infections with the emerging coronavirus, as 19 and 32 deaths, compared to 1,348 cases and 40 deaths yesterday.
Khaled Mujahid, a spokesman for the Egyptian Ministry of Health, said in a statement that the total number registered in Egypt with the virus to date has reached 32,612 cases, including 8,538 cases that have been cured and discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals and 1,198 deaths.
Mujahid pointed out that the governorates that recorded the highest rates of infection with the Corona virus are "Cairo, Giza and Qaliubiya", while the governorates of the Red Sea, Matruh and South Sinai recorded the lowest rates of HIV infections, calling on the Egyptians to adhere to preventive and precautionary measures, especially in the governorates that witness high rates of infection.
For its part, the UAE Ministry of Health announced the registration of 626 infections and one new death from the Corona virus.
The ministry said that the cases of all the injured are stable and are subject to the necessary health care.
Thus, the total number of injuries reached 38,268, including 16,932 active cases.
The number of recovery cases in the UAE increased to 21061 after 724 new cases were registered, while the death toll from the disease reached 275 cases.
In Kazakhstan, the Kazakh presidency announced that President Kasim Gomart Tokayev is undergoing treatment in hospital after it is confirmed that he is infected with the Coronavirus, explaining that the President continues his usual work and his health is not in danger.
Kazakhstan has recorded 12,511 cases of Covid 19 disease caused by infection with Coronavirus and 53 deaths.
The Kazakh authorities eased the general isolation measures last month after continuing for two months while keeping the rules for social separation and closing the borders.
