After a long dry spell and many hardships, the time has come: The open-air swimming pool in Mammendorf opens its doors to all those hungry for bathing at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 8th. There are some restrictions due to the corona.

Mammendorf - For the time being, only 800 guests can be present at the same time, reports the district office. Groups of people are only allowed in the bathroom if they belong to a household - i.e. spouses, life partners and partners of an illegitimate community, relatives in a straight line, siblings and members of another household.

Children under the age of 14 may only enter the bathroom if accompanied by a legal guardian or an adult responsible for childcare. You have to keep your distance from people outside of your own or another household. That applies to the entire site. Masks are compulsory in the toilets, the showers are only released in a limited number for the time being. The family shower must remain locked for the time being, as this is a closed room.

Names are documented

To determine contact persons, documentation is required with details of names and safe accessibility in the form of telephone number or email address or address of a person per household and period of stay. For this purpose, the guests are given a form at the checkout, which they must return when they leave the bathroom. There are no season or point cards or other discounts. Points cards from previous years will be accepted again from the 2021 swimming season. Each guest pays an entrance fee of three euros. This does not apply to guests who have previously had free entry.

Pool is divided

A floating line is tensioned in the large pool so that you can swim in circles in two divided areas. In the non-swimmer pool as well as in the playground and sand area, parents are responsible for ensuring that the distance requirement is observed.

The youth tent site will remain closed for the time being, only the four RV sites can be occupied. The occupancy may only be made by relatives of your own or another household, as long as mobile homes or cars have their own sanitary unit. A reservation via the Internet address www.fzp-mammendorf.de is necessary. A protection and hygiene concept was developed for the outdoor swimming pool and the youth tent, which guarantees the highest possible protection against infection for both the staff and the guests, according to the district office.
