A 16-year-old boy was shot dead around 3:30 a.m. on the night of Friday to Saturday in Epinay-sur-Seine (Seine-Saint-Denis).
"We have no idea why," said a source familiar with the matter, adding that the victim was not known to the justice system. An investigation was opened for "homicide in an organized gang" and entrusted to the Paris criminal brigade.

Two days ago, an 18-year-old boy was killed nearby, Saint-Denis. Two other youths were injured. A revolver was discovered in the thickets about twenty meters from the victims, said a police source.
