Vandalism among sports clubs has unfortunately not been uncommon in the past few months and years in the district. The youngest victim is TSV Gilching-Argelsried. First of all, between May 22nd and 24th, a letterbox was opened at the forest pitches, in which a key for the gates to the grass pitches of the soccer players was kept.
Gilching - "The key was gone and the door to one of the two forest spaces was open," reports department head Stefan Schwartling. After all, according to the responsible manager Gerald Söhnel, no damage has been done to the seats. "It is puzzling what the perpetrator wanted to achieve with it," says department head Schwartling.
The key would not have been necessary for the smearings, which were placed in various places by unknown persons during Pentecost holidays. Both the underpass under the new Gilching ring road and a recently opened kiosk on the forest squares are freely accessible to everyone. “But the bigger damage is of course the theft of the key. We may have to replace the entire locking system on the system, ”says Schwartling. This should cost TSV Gilching more than 2000 euros.
