The boy was severely injured in the face. The version of the police differs.

Gabriel, 14, was discharged from Necker Hospital in Paris on Friday June 5 after ten days of hospitalization. The adolescent, who received 30 days of ITT, was severely injured in the face: he had four broken teeth, a maxillary fracture and bruises. What caused these injuries? Gabriel claims to have been raped by four police officers during his arrest in Bondy on May 25 when he tried to steal a scooter with a friend.

To our colleagues from Loopsider, he explains his version of the facts. The young man admits that he wanted to steal the vehicle and says: “ When I saw them (the police), I started to run. I was scared. They ran and insulted me. When they caught me, I said to them 'please surrender'. That's where they hit me. They put me on the ground and put the handcuffs on me (...) He put his knees on my back and there is a woman who held my feet while a bearded policeman beat me with the tip of his feet (...) in my face. "

Gabriel is then taken to the Bobigny police station. This is where I started to vomit and I had a very bad headache. I had blood running down my face. This is where the policeman who hit me came. He wanted to take me to the hospital and I vomited in front of the car. The firefighters came to get me and said 'how did you do that?' and the police said I had fallen, "he said. In fact, the police force pleaded “the accident” and explained that one of them “ tripped ” over Gabriel when he was arrested. " I can't believe they are lying this way, " said the teen.

Once in the hospital, he tells a doctor what happened. " She said that my condition was serious and she called my mother ." The latter had not been notified by the police.

The boy was heard by the National Police's General Inspectorate (IGPN) on Thursday and confirmed his statements, according to his lawyer. The family filed a complaint with the IGPN and the Bobigny prosecution for " aggravated violence in a meeting by persons holding public authority and on minors under 15 years of age ".
