(CNN Spanish) - Argentine Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner was summoned to Justice but this time as a possible victim, her lawyer confirmed to CNN.

Federal judge Federico Villena summoned Fernández de Kirchner for this Monday with the aim of notifying him that he had been the target of alleged illegal espionage during the Mauricio Macri government.

Judge Villena investigates an alleged illegal espionage network that would have operated during the macrismo. CNN sought the reaction of the former president of Argentina to this investigation but his spokesman stated that he will not make statements.

A former spokesman for the Federal Intelligence Agency (AFI) during Macri's presidency denied that Macri had participated in any espionage activity that had not been previously authorized by a judge.

The former president will have access on Monday to the material collected by the judge during the investigation of this alleged network made up of former members of state intelligence that would have spied on her.

Fernández de Kirchner could then apply to become a plaintiff in the criminal case.
