(ANSA) - AREZZO, JUNE 06 - Arrested in the night and will be questioned next Monday by Arezzo prosecutor Roberto Rossi, the driver of the minivan that crashed yesterday against a truck in A1, causing the death of two 8-month and 10-year-old girls and 50-year-old grandparents. The man, thirty years of Sinti origin, is the father of the children and was arrested by the Peromicidiostradale Polstrada. The arrest was triggered following the investigations by the traffic police which will continue next Monday with the interrogation in power of attorney aimed at constructing the dynamics of the accident. The arrest took place in the hospital where the thirty-year-old was negative at the alcohol test.
One hypothesis is that the man, behind the wheel for many hours on the promenade, was suffering from fatigue. Texts saw the zigzag vehicle end up on a truck that was in a pitch.
Seven are the wounded: the most serious, but not life threatening, are the mother of the girls and two boys, one of whom is the twin of the 8-month victim. (HANDLE).
