Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hanan Ashrawi, condemned the continuous attacks by the Israeli occupation authorities on Palestinian Islamic and Christian holy sites, foremost of which is the blessed Al Aqsa Mosque, stressing that it is a flagrant violation of international legitimacy resolutions.
Ashrawi said in a statement today reported by the Wafa Agency that the occupation authorities' continued repressive practice in the holy city and deporting the Palestinians and endowment employees to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and assaulting them and arresting them comes within the framework of the occupation's plans to Judaize and falsify its character and identity, cancel the Palestinian presence and isolate it from its surroundings and impose a new reality, stressing that The blind American bias of the occupation encouraged him to continue his attacks on religious sanctities.
Ashrawi called on the international community and the relevant UN organizations to take immediate action to stop the violations of the occupation in accordance with international law and human rights principles and to provide protection for the holy places from the continued attacks of the occupation and hold those responsible accountable.
