Stuttgart - Good news about Stuttgart 21 is rare. The rail project is mainly known for the protests and ever new cost explosions. Now another section will cost more, partly because of the tight schedule.
As BW24 * reports, the construction of the large Wendlinger curve will cause higher costs for Stuttgart 21. As part of the Stuttgart 21 project, it connects the new line between Wendlingen and Ulm with the Neckar Valley Railway.
The costs for Stuttgart 21 have risen steadily since 2009. Experts are now predicting 8.2 billion euros for the entire project (BW24 * reported).
