Fire and explosion of Shuiquan'ao passenger truck suspected of being burned by arson

Nearly 2 am, a car fire broke out in Shuiquanao, Shatian. It was reported that a passenger truck parked on the roadside of Boquan Street suddenly caught fire and an explosion occurred during the incident, which alarmed nearby residents to report the incident. The fire was extinguished and the van was severely burned. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. After the fire investigation, the cause of the fire was considered suspicious, and the police followed up. The suspect was initially set on fire. Police allege that a report was received from a resident at 1:54 in the morning and that a car caught fire at No. 1 Boquan Street. The police received the report and found a light truck parked at the site on fire. The fire extinguished the fire. After preliminary investigation, the fire believed that the cause of the fire was suspicious. The case was classified as an arson and sent to the Criminal Investigation Team of Sha Tin Police District for follow-up. No one has been arrested.
