Today, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 3 new infections with the Corona virus for people in contact with people in the town of Ras al-Ma`ra in Damascus countryside, and the recovery of 4 cases of recorded infections with the virus in Syria.
The ministry said in a statement that SANA received a copy of it, that the total number of injuries in Syria reached 144, including 62 hospitalized cases, and 6 died.
Yesterday, the Ministry announced the registration of 16 cases of coronavirus in the town of Ras al-Ma`ra in Damascus countryside for people who had contact with the injured truck driver working on the Syria-Jordan line and subject the town of Ras al-Ma`ra to quarantine in order to prevent the spread of the virus and to preserve public health and the safety of citizens.
On the fourth of this month, the Ministry of Health announced that it had registered a case of corona virus in Damascus countryside for a person working as a truck driver on the Syria-Jordan line.
The first infection with the Corona virus was recorded in Syria on the twenty-second of last March for a person coming from outside the country, while the first death was recorded on the twenty-ninth of the same month.
