It's not a fairy tale: A dramatic 10-year search for a treasure trove of gems, antique artifacts and $ 1 million gold hidden in the Rockies in the Santa Fe city area has finally come to an end.

The Treasury story, recently published in the Daily Mirror, begins with his treasure, retired military man and Vietnam War hero, Major Forrest Penn. He became cancerous in 1988, and as part of his thoughts at the time, he decided to put his favorite secret spot in the Rocky Mountains, where he also wanted to be buried, a treasure chest. But he survived the disease and continued his life as usual and "forgot" the box - until the 2008 economic crisis.

Following the global crisis at that time, Penn decided that he wanted to please the American public and bring the common people back to nature. Therefore, in 2010, he published a book containing a poem that suggests the location of his treasure chest, as well as details of the artifacts, gems and gold bullion inside.

The song soon became famous, prompting 350,000 people from around the world to go exploring the Rockies in the Santa Fe area to find the box. Unfortunately, during the searches, five people died in their attempt to locate the treasure, but that did not stop the curiosity from trying to locate the box until at some point they suspected it was just traction.

However, it turns out that this is not just an urban legend. This week, Forrest Penn officially announced that the box was found by one of the searchers, an American citizen, who "sent a picture of her to me and thus proved to me that he had indeed found the place." The outlet asked the millionaire and retired 89-year-old military man to keep his identity a secret, so that hundreds of thousands of Treasury seekers could not figure out where they had gone during their many years of searching.
