Saturday is very hot up to 33 degrees

As the high-altitude anticyclone strengthened, the weather along the coast of Guangdong in the middle and later of the week was hot and the weather improved. From Wednesday to Saturday from partly sunny, it turns to generally fine, the urban area rises to a maximum of 32 to 33 degrees, and the day is very hot on Saturday.

The Observatory anticipates that the low-pressure zone in the waters east of the Philippines will gradually develop and enter the northern part of the South China Sea later this week. During the weekend, the weather along the coast of Guangdong gradually becomes unstable, but there are still variables in its intensity and path.

Will it catch the wind? According to the nine-day weather forecast published by the Observatory today at 11:30 am, it is predicted that only moderate (3 to 4) east winds will be blown on Saturday, and it will be slightly stronger next Sunday. See the wind has increased significantly.

The projections of the two major forecasting agencies are very different. The European Center for Medium-Term Weather Forecast (ECMWF) forecast is similar to the Observatory and has little impact on Hong Kong. However, the forecast of the United States Global Forecast System (GFS) tends to strengthen the low-pressure area into a tropical cyclone, directly Strike Hong Kong.
