Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
Canadian Foreign Minister Francois Philippe Champaign affirmed his country's rejection of the plans of the Israeli occupation to annex lands from the occupied West Bank, noting that it is in violation of international law.
The Wafa news agency reported that Champaign stressed in a phone call today with the Palestinian Foreign Minister, Riyad Al-Maliki, that his country informed the occupation authorities of its position rejecting the annexation plans and its support for the establishment of the Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967.
For his part, Al-Maliki called on Canada to continue working with the international community to prevent the occupation authorities from implementing the annexation plans.
