Peru, the second most affected country in Latin America by the coronavirus epidemic, crossed the barrier of 200,000 declared infections on Tuesday, announced the Ministry of Health. The number of contaminations amounts to 203,736 and that of deaths reaches 5,738, according to the latest official report. The country of 32 million inhabitants is the second most affected in Latin America after Brazil in number of contaminations, and the third after Brazil and Mexico for deaths.
