A national stand was held in the Umayyad Square in Damascus today to denounce the so-called "Caesar's Law" and to reject unjust coercive measures imposed on Syria and as an affirmation of the adherence to national principles and standing together in the face of terrorism and economic war.

The participants expressed their support for the homeland, the leader of the homeland, and the Syrian Arab Army in facing terrorism and economic pressures under various names, stressing that the Syrian people who have endured for more than nine years in the face of the terrorist war will not undermine their will, strength, and resolve, the economic war waged by the forces of aggression, and that it is determined to confront this war In defense of the pride and dignity of the country.

Aboudi Al-Shami, one of the participants in the Waqf, stressed that it came to announce the Syrian people’s refusal of the coercive measures imposed on them because they target their livelihood and that everyone today came to say that the Syrian people who have endured for more than nine years in the face of the terrorist war will remain steadfast in front of all adversity and will win.

Jaafar Khaddour indicated that he shared the stand with his colleagues to deliver a message to the world and America and its allies that the Syrian people have one hand and one description alongside the leadership and the army and that Syria will win with the blood of the martyrs and the steadfastness of its people and the wisdom of its leader.

Muhammad Taha expressed his rejection of the American plans and interference in Syria’s internal affairs, saying, “From the Umayyad square from the heart of the capital, Damascus, we say no matter how much war and sanctions have intensified, we will remain steadfast until victory.” While Ahmed Ismail said that the Syrians assure the world that the sanctions, whatever they are, do not intimidate the Syrian people.
