Infrastructure recovery plan in the fall

The majority (LRI, UDI, Modem) welcomed this " additional budget " which will " allow the region to have a role of tutor and accompanist " (UDI) and " crisis absorber " ( LRI). Conversely, the opposition deplored " narrow measures in terms of employment " and "a missed meeting with the Ile-de-France (Ile-de-France), as well as a" huge waste that is increasing the debt without correcting anything past mistakes ”(Ecological and social alternatives), or even“ a wasted opportunity ”, which“ does not use the crisis to break with the “ as before ” (Left Front). This plan is to be completed in the fall with a recovery plan for Ile-de-France infrastructure, particularly in transport.

The groups voted unanimously an executive amendment to mandate the President of the Region to challenge the government " so that it provides full compensation for lost tax revenue and travelers from Ile-de-France Mobilities linked to the Covid-19 epidemic for the year 2020 and a compensation mechanism for the year 2021 ”. Previously, the region had adopted its 2019 administrative account. " We would never have been able to present a recovery plan without the room for maneuver cleared for 4 years by the executive, " said Valérie Pécresse.

The majority welcomed a “ record investment level ” of 2.2 billion euros, and a “ debt outstanding down 5% ”. But the opposition denounced "a lost mandate for the people of Ile-de-France and a decline in public action" (Ecologists and progressives) especially on housing, city policy, social and health. For the RN, this administrative account " testifies to the growing distance between a self-satisfied administration and a dismayed population ".
