" This morning (June 9th, 2020) a serious traffic accident occurred on the BAB 6 at the Altdorf interchange, in which one person was fatally injured. Shortly after 10:00 a.m., the driver of a semitrailer that was traveling in the direction of Heilbronn had to brake due to the dust. A Mercedes Sprinter driving behind could no longer brake in time and drove into the rear of the tractor-trailer. The 43-year-old driver was caught and died of his serious injuries at the scene of the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer remained unharmed. Contrary to the first reports from witnesses, the accident vehicle did not burn. The A 6 was completely blocked until the casualty was salvaged. The left lane has been open to traffic again since 11:20 a.m. "
