During the second day of the visit of the ministerial delegation to Deir Al-Zour Governorate, Ayyash water station was put into service after its rehabilitation from the damage caused by the terrorist attacks and the opening of the Syrian Trade Hall in the town of Al-Kharra and the health center in the adoption area and the headquarters of Al-Tarif town in the western countryside of Deir Al-Zour.
The ministerial delegation headed by the Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources, Eng. Ali Ghanem, visited the work of the Citizen Service Center in Deir Al-Zour City Council, the ongoing construction work for the new Citizen Service Center in Al-Thawra neighborhood and the work of laying the asphalt shirt in a number of the city’s streets and visited the temporary quarantine center in the deaf and dumb building in Ayyash .
The ministerial delegation also reviewed the ongoing restoration and rehabilitation work on the salt mine in Deir Al-Zour, which started at the beginning of this year and will continue for a whole year, as production is supposed to start with 150 thousand tons, reaching 250 thousand tons at a cost of 6 billion Syrian pounds and is expected to achieve revenues Annual exceeding 1.5 billion Syrian pounds.
The delegation visited the wheat harvesting process in the town of Shumitiya, visited the Euphrates Center to receive grains, and met a number of farmers and listened to the facilities provided by the government for the wheat harvest and marketing operations.
After that, the delegation continued its tour to Al-Raqqa governorate, where it visited the shelters in Khamisia and visited Shamar, which were prepared to receive international students to perform their exams, the quarantine center in Al-Mughala, the program for the control of Leishmania and Diabetes Program in Granada, the process of receiving the wheat crop in the Sabkha grains center, and reviewed the availability of food The main thing is in the Syrian Hall of Commerce in Sabkha and on the preparations of the Education Directorate for public certification exams, where you check the work of the Questions Printing Center, the Examinations Department and the Sabkha Production Center.
After that, the ministerial delegation held a meeting with a number of administrative cadres in the Al-Raqqa Governorate building in Sabkha, during which he listened to the most important demands for the advancement of service, living and educational realities.
In a statement to reporters, the Minister of Oil pointed out that the visit to the two governorates comes with the aim of tracking the implemented projects that are under implementation, whether through the Reconstruction Committee or through the work assigned to the ministries, and the project tracking ratios were good in addition to holding meetings with events and administrative cadres to determine what has been implemented of Plan and listen to the demands of the two governorates and work to resolve them as a government team dispatched to track the plans and activities implemented at the developmental and service levels.
The Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Eng. Hussein Makhlouf, pointed out that the purpose of the visit is to see the work carried out by the governorates of Deir Al-Zour and Al-Raqqa, and the work of citizen service centers and development and investment projects and the performance of administrative units and the services and projects that are implemented in the two governorates within the framework of rehabilitation and reconstruction Restoring basic services and returning citizens to their homes and villages after liberating them from terrorism by the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army, explaining that during the tour, the needs were discussed and what was needed for the independent budgets, in addition to providing a basket of support in the field of mechanisms and cadres necessary to implement projects.
The Governor of Deir Al-Zour Abdul Majeed Al-Kawakibi stressed that the governorate started to recover and reverted the wheel of production, especially in the agricultural sector, as a result of government support and the implementation of development, economic and service projects, which contributed to the return of the people to their cities and villages, pointing out that the reconstruction process in the governorate continues to restore Deir Al-Zour Its position and the role assigned to it as a productive governorate that supports the national economy.
