From June 22 to September 27, the young chef will offer on the banks of the Seine (Paris 13th), for 350 covers, street food highlighting small French producers.

Here is what promises to be one of the pretty Parisian projects stemming from confinement. On June 22, for a period of three months, the Wanderlust, a multidisciplinary festive space on the banks of the Seine (Paris 13th) focused on clubbing, returns entirely devoted to friendly and eco-responsible catering, outdoors, on an XXL terrace 350 seats!

For "Wanderlust Street Food", the Assembly group (Silencio, FVTVR, Beau Regard, Joséphine) called on Alexia Duchêne, a young chef of his time, who became known during season 10 of "Top Chef" . “We approached Alexia because we share common values: the desire to help small local producers that were damaged during the Covid-19 crisis, respect for the environment, by limiting waste, recycling waste ... ” explains Arnaud Frisch, the president of the place located at the City of Fashion and Design. "And the chef belongs to the same generation as the Wanderlust clientele!"

"This rather ambitious project was just what I needed to recover from this difficult period and my departure from Datsha ." says the 24-year-old chef, who will head a brigade of 15 people, led daily by its executive chef Pierre-Elie Martin. "It now seems essential to me to focus on the essentials, namely to please as many people as possible, and bring them together around seasonal and quality French products."

Cubano sandwich, Caesar 2.0 salad and raw cream pizzette

Street food being, since the opening in 2012, one of the hallmarks of the place - which has already hosted several festivals on this theme -, particularly adapted to the summer season, it is quite naturally that it was chosen for this ephemeral project. Customers will therefore choose from around fifteen street dishes of different origins, divided into four categories: pizzette (raw cream, potato, guanciale and rosemary; datterino tomato, ricotta, zucchini and chilli), sandwiches (Cubano à la marinated pig loin, ham, mustard and pickle; mushroom tacos, red onions, coriander and lime), chicken (fried chicken, sriracha sauce and lovage mayo; Caesar 2.0 salad with herbs and sumac) ... And vegetables (roasted cauliflower, curry yogurt and burned chive oil; red coleslaw, sesame, spring onion and lime), Alexia Duchêne being a fan of vegetable cooking. Desserts (cookies, granita ice cream with herbs and flowers) and cocktail menu (such as Norman Spritz at 30 & 40, tonic and rosemary) signed by the chef will also be there, as will a selection of well-sourced drinks (Coutume coffee , natural wines, organic Marcel fruit juice ...).

The 1500 m² terrace, currently under construction to house a green decor and new furniture, respectful of barrier gestures, will be available every evening, and from 11 am for weekend brunch, by reservation only. “We offer staggered time slots, different areas for setting up, table service, and we have developed an application to book online and order on the spot. A 3.0 restaurant, very digital, which will avoid queues inside and outside, ” explains Arnaud Frisch. Cabins for dinner for two by the water will be set up, small groups will have their reserved spaces, and a tavern corner will be fitted out with hanging garlands. Enough to enjoy the Parisian summer gently!
