Father of child star, convicted as part of a plea bargain for felony indecent crimes and sexual harassment of minors • Sentencing will be given below

Ronan Beatty's trial reached the penalty stage. The lawsuit demanded Wednesday from the Kfar Saba Magistrate's Court to sentence the child star's father to four years in prison. Beatty was convicted as part of a plea bargain for lewd acts and sexual harassment of minors, who were members of his daughter's Wetsap group. Sentence in Beatty's case will be given below.

Attorney Inbar Kidder-Baruch, who represents one of the minor victims, claimed during the hearing that "convicted sex offender Ronan Beatty took advantage of the innocence of the minors who adored his daughter. I think there is no other way but to sentence him to a long term in prison. Kidder-Baruch added that "Ronan Beatty and his family did not take responsibility for the acts."

The prosecutor, Attorney Natalie Haggai, said: "The defendant was involved in the affairs of his daughter, child star Adi Beatty and this is the ground for the actions. The minority admiration for his daughter was also for him. The defendant blatantly, radically, and long used the same blind admiration to win their closeness and affection. Minor sex offenses exist. According to the defense, this is a contactless case, there was no sexual encounter with any of the complainants. There is no dispute about that. However, committing sex offenses via the network is no less serious. "

Lawyer Avi Haimi representing Beatty said in court hearing: "It is important that you know that there is no physical encounter with the complainant. Everything is in the Wetsaps. Blood. The prosecution is asking for actual imprisonment, but we are asking for imprisonment for service work. "

Attorney Rotem Tubol, who also represents Beatty, claimed that he "has come a long way in a therapeutic and rehabilitative way and it justifies not imposing an actual prison sentence." 

Remember, the indictment against the father was filed in Kfar Saba Magistrate's Court. As part of this, Beatty was charged with offenses of indecent acts, sexual harassment and threats against girls.

The indictment alleges that Beatty set up in 2014 a watsap group called Beatty Empire, in which there were about 70 minors who adored his daughter. During 2018-2017 Beatty used to have conversations, some with sexual content, with nine minors who were members of the group. 

Send underage photos to minors

According to the indictment, Beatty contacted the minors in the private chat and asked them to download the Telegram app because it was a "safe" app, where confidential calls could not be copied or forwarded, and that the messages were deleted immediately as of writing.

After the minors installed the Telegram app, Beatty used to set up the chats with the minors under "automatic message deletion" and have sex-related conversations with the minors.

Among other things, Beatty used to ask the minors whether they were masturbating, suggest they do so, and some of them asked him to send him a voicemail stating.

Beatty used to send some of his minors pictures and videos of him masturbating and coming to an outlet, and even suggested some of the minors commit sexual acts themselves. Beatty even asked one of the minors to perform sexual acts in it and sent three minors a video documenting such acts between two minors in a classroom.

Some of the minors opened a Wattsap group where Beatty's wife revealed his actions. As a result, the defendant sent a voice message to a group in which he threatened two of the minors.
