At about 11:25 pm on Friday (12th), there was a styrofoam box and debris caught in the back lane of No. 9 Wing Lung Street; about 20 minutes later, a large garbage can also caught fire in Li Zhengwu Garden on Tokyo Street; When it was close to zero, another trash can caught fire at Lee House Gardens on Tai Po Road, which also affected the seine canvas and benches. Police officers once used a park hose to put out the fire.
After the fire rushed to extinguish the three fires, they all believed that the cause of the fire was suspicious. Sources said that at the time of the incident, some passers-by witnessed three suspicious persons and fled towards Sha Tin on Tai Po Road. The police classified the case as "arson" and is now investigating the incident.
