Latin America and the Caribbean exceed 1.5 million cases

Latin American and Caribbean countries have recorded more than 1.5 million combined cases of covid-19 as of Thursday night, according to Johns Hopkins University.
These 33 countries are included in the region: Brazil, Peru, Chile, Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Panama, Bolivia, Guatemala, Honduras, Haiti, El Salvador, Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Paraguay, Uruguay, Jamaica, Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Bahamas, Barbados, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Antigua and Barbuda, Granada, Belize, Saint Lucia, Dominica, and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
The region has a combined total of 1,508,683 confirmed cases, according to the Johns Hopkins University count.
