Protests continued in Lebanon today, with demonstrators cutting off some of the main ways to demand an improvement in living conditions.

Protesters cut the Minieh Al-Abda International Highway in northern Lebanon at more than one point with stones and burning tires, specifically at the roundabout of the locality of Arman in both directions and in front of the municipal building and at the tunnel of the town of Hanin. To get to their homes, which caused a lot of traffic.

The Traffic Control Room of the Internal Security Forces indicated that the severed roads in the north of Lebanon are Muhammara, Beddawi, Al-Hosniyeh and Al-Abdeh junction, and it announced the cutting of the Sidon highway, pictures of the Adloun locality near the shrine of the Prophet Sari, in both directions.

In turn, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that a number of protesters lit tires in front of the Tripoli Saray and cut the Boulevard Fouad Shehab and some lanes of Abdel Hamid Karami Square, in protest against corruption, amid the proliferation of Lebanese army and internal security forces in the vicinity of the Serail.

Since October 17, Lebanon has witnessed demonstrations and protest actions calling for improving the living conditions, fighting corruption and holding the corrupt accountable, while groups exploiting popular demands and riots during demonstrations in a number of regions.
