Freising - There is no such operation every day: On Thursday, the traffic police in Freising got to deal with a family of ducks . A patrol was traveling from Ismaninger Strasse to Clemensänger-Ring at around 1:10 p.m. The officers saw - as it turned out not the last time - a small family of ducks that was about to cross the street. "However , there was still a curb between the chicks and the safe harbor, which seemed insurmountable for the family's offspring," says the police report. With a little help from the officials, the animals were able to overcome the obstacle, "and the ducks happily went their way".
Freising: Duck family ensures unusual police operation - "almost unimpressed"
But that was not the end of the story: when the patrol crew passed the site a second time a few minutes later, the day trippers were apparently on their way back: this time the duck family camped on the grass strip between the two lanes. However, the officers had to intervene: "Since this was not a (safe) place for the duck family to stay for a long time, a ban was given to the duck family ," reports police commissioner Philipp Bucher. However, despite multiple requests, they did not comply. "They were almost unimpressed and paid their full attention to the flowering meadow."

A passer-by, who had observed the situation in the meantime, offered a cardboard box to help with the removal of the animals. The duck mother showed understanding after the transfer and stated that she would limit walks to field and meadow paths in the future. ” Ft
